EN54 FireProtect (VAD) Jeweller is a wireless addressable visual fire alarm device (VAD). The device complies with EN 54 requirements and ensures alarm recognition in various environments, including noisy areas. Visual indication makes the alarm perceptible to people with hearing impairments. EN54 FireProtect (VAD) Jeweller operates as part of an Ajax system and communicates with control and indicating equipment (CIE) via secure Jeweller radio protocol. The communication range with the CIE is up to 1,700 m in an open space.
